U.S. exports of Condoms, nursing nipples increased 4.46 percent from $25.9 million to $27.05 million through the first seven months of 2019 when compared to the same period the previous year, according to WorldCity analysis of the latest U.S. Census Bureau data.

The category ranked 868 through July among the roughly 1,265 export commodity groupings as classified by Census. It ranked No. 883 for the last full year with a total value of $47.47 million, a $2.75 million, 5.47 percent decrease from the 2017 total.

Through July of this year the top trade partners were No. 1 Canada, No. 2 Belgium, No. 3 Mexico, No. 4 Australia and No. 5 China. The leading gateways were No. 1 Buffalo Peace Bridge, NY, No. 2 Port Laredo, No. 3 Port of New York, No. 4 Chicago O’Hare International Airport and No. 5 Port of Newark.

  • U.S. exports to No. 3 Mexico increased $694,375, 19.33 percent, (15.85 percent market share).
  • U.S. exports to No. 4 Australia increased $523,322, 92.42 percent, (4.03 percent market share).
  • U.S. exports to No. 5 China decreased $263,452, 21.63 percent, (3.53 percent of all shipments).
